What is required from Club Fido and Friends?

***PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate any new clients for any of our services at this time. We will remove this message as soon as we are able to accept new clients. We apologize for the inconvenience!***

We require a copy of each Clubster's vaccination records prior to scheduling evaluations, daycare, or boarding. Vaccination records must indicate the date that the vaccine was administered (not the date that it is due). You may bring them in person, fax them to 912-201-3728 or email them to clubfido@outlook.com.

To ensure all Clubsters are properly vaccinated, proof of additional vaccinations are required for dogs younger than 1 year and for dogs that have recently been adopted or rescued. Please speak with a Club Fido Bonetender for more information.

Vaccinations

The health and well-being of our Clubsters is of the utmost importance at Club Fido. The following vaccinations are required prior to admittance:

All Clubsters, 6 months or older, must be spayed or neutered.

Dress Code

We ask that all Clubsters be outfitted with a quick release collar and an ID tag stating their name. While our motto is Live Unleashed, we do value your Clubster's safety first. For that reason, we ask that all Clubsters being transported to and from our facility be on a leash.

Daycare

All dogs planning to attend daycare or boarding must first complete an evaluation day. The evaluation day helps us to determine if our open-style play environment is a safe place for your Clubster. Daycare is available 7 days/week by appointment only.

FREE Evaluation Day!

At Club Fido, your first day is always FREE! We use this day to observe the behavior and temperament of your Clubster, and to determine if they are comfortable with our kennel-free environment. Evaluation days are done Mon-Thurs and are typically booked about 2+ weeks in advance. An evaluation must be complete before any scheduling of daycare or boarding. Some dogs take longer than others to adjust, so we require that this first day be at least 6 hours.

We also require an evaluation overnight before we are able to schedule any boarding of 3 nights or longer, or for boarding around holidays or holiday weekends. This evaluation overnight is also free and can only be scheduled after a Clubster has completed and successfully passed their evaluation day. The evaluation night cannot take place at the same time as the evaluation day, and long-term and/or holiday boarding can not be scheduled until both are successfully completed and passed. Additional restrictions and/or requirements may be necessary to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all Clubsters.

Overnight Boarding

All overnight boarding includes daycare and is kennel-free. Boarding dogs must check-in before 3:00 PM.  This is to ensure they have time to acclimate to the group before bedtime.  It also minimizes interruptions during dinner preparation and administration. Checkout for overnight boarding is anytime before 3:00 PM.  This allows us time to properly prepare and administer dinner and minimizes interference with our high volume of daycare checkouts.  Checkouts after 3:00 PM and before 8:00 PM (6:00 PM on Sundays) will incur a late checkout fee. Checkout after 8:00 PM (6:00 PM on Sundays) is not available.  See our 'Rates' page for pricing information.

We ask that guests planning to board with us make reservations well in advance, especially during holidays and extended weekends.

Note: Reservations for overnight boarding around major holidays requires a deposit that is only refundable if the reservation is cancelled 7 days prior to the start of the reservation. Additional stipulations and requirements may also apply. Unfortunately, we are unable to make a reservation until this deposit is made and all requirements are met. Thank you for your understanding.

Cancellations

Because Club Fido is staffed based on the number of Clubsters coming to party, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible in the event you need to cancel a reservation. Not only will this ensure that we are correctly staffed, but it will also allow wait-listed Clubsters an opportunity to stay with us.

Note: Multiple no-call-no-shows may result in additional fees or charges on your next stay, and may limit our ability to hold your reservations or offer you our services.

Health

All Clubsters must be flea and tick free, and in good overall health. Club Fido is happy to provide extra assistance to dogs with special needs (i.e., special handling, bandage and/or splint changes, hand feeding, walking assistance, etc.)

Clubsters with non-communicable health issues (i.e., ear infections, arthritis, glaucoma, cancer, etc.) are still eligible to party with us. It is best to discuss any possible issues in advance with our Bonetenders or Club Bouncers.

Food

We strongly suggest bringing your Clubster's food from home.  We will happily feed your pup our food, but it is best for them not to change foods rapidly. If you would rather your dog be fed our house food, we can do so for a charge of $4/day.

We are able to accommodate different diet types including those that require refrigeration/freezing, cooking (via microwave oven), and water/additive mixing.

For the safety of your Clubster, please discuss any allergies (food or otherwise) with our Bonetenders or Club Bouncers.

Medication

We will happily administer medication at no additional charge. Please provide medications in a secure container, clearly labeled with both the name of the medication and the name of the dog. Please also include written instructions including the medication name, dog's name, dosage, and administration frequency. To ensure proper administration, please be sure to discuss all of this in advance with our Bonetenders or Club Bouncers.

Personal Belongings

With the exception of food, we ask that Clubsters leave all personal belongings at home. In our kennel-free environment, personal belongings can become a source of possessive aggression. Don't worry, we provide clean, safe and comfortable bedding to make your Clubster as cozy as possible.

If you are truly concerned that your pup may struggle with separation anxiety during his or her stay, you may bring in a blanket, T-shirt or similar item from home for them to sleep with. We will make every effort to return items in the condition in which they arrived. However, due to the off-leash atmosphere, please be aware that irreparable damage to these articles may occur.

Emergencies

In the event of injury or illness, we will quickly assess the situation to determine what plan of action to take. Our concern is always what is best for your Clubster. In non-emergency situations, we will make the effort to take them to their own vet. In emergency situations, we will rush your Clubster to the nearest veterinary hospital. In the event that an emergency occurs after-hours, we will rush your Clubster to Savannah Emergency Veterinary Hospital. We will always try to contact the owner to get their permission for our chosen course of action.

Our Unleashed Environment

We are committed to providing a safe, controlled, off-leash environment where Clubsters can socialize and have fun. Much like children who share a classroom, even under constant professional supervision, there are some risks associated with the close physical contact and energetic play afforded in our Club. During normal play a Clubster may get small scratches, scrapes or nicks, and lose small patches of fur. Your Clubster may also experience sore muscles, sore joints, or sore feet and pads. Although rare, it is possible for more serious injuries to occur.

Our primary goal is to provide a safe and healthy environment. Despite our stringent sanitation procedures, screening procedures and vaccination requirements, the risk of communicable disease still exists.
